A small chest print: a magpie in oxblood, the word "Pye", and a quiet line of italic. 220gsm cream cotton. Discreet on purpose.
Printed in the UK once you order. About a week to dispatch, free over £75.
"Pye" is an old word for magpie. The Romans had it as pica, the French still write it pie. We liked it better than the obvious version, and the bird sits well in oxblood rather than the usual black-and-white.
The line underneath, about a bird that comes for shiny things, is from a folk rhyme nobody can date.
